Kickoff visit in Chad
In Chad, the introduction phase of the project took place from 2021 September 11 – 17. All CROP4HD consortium members met in Ndjamena, the capital of the country during this period.

Gender and diversity mainstreaming
CROPS4HD designed its project to take women’s different roles and realities into account. Specifically, following recommendations extracted from the four preparatory gender and conflict studies, the project integrated the study findings in the project design and will characterize the work in the four countries.
Use of technology in CROPS4HD
CROPS4HD will use a phone-based information and communication platform and methodology for mutual sharing of knowledge and experiences among peasants groups and link them with expert knowledge nationally and internationally.
